About Us

The story of Ole Blue Truck Farm began a few years ago, when I was scouring all of the home buying apps in search of a place where I could peacefully take care of my special needs brother. Here, I found the current Ole Blue Truck Farm in its original state as Dogwood Farm—a place where we hoped to find a way of living that would renew our spirits and be unconventional.

It was the desire of our family to reset, dream big, and create a place of peace for my brother to spend his time. With this deep rooted purpose, I began to come up with ideas where others can experience the beauty of our quaint farm, gorgeous sunsets, and rolling green grass on a larger scale.

At the same time, a new relationship with an old friend, Stephen, started to arise. A few months later, he proposed and we were on our way to marriage, and we now had all the pieces to this crazy puzzle to start putting our life together.

Where could we possibly think to get married but here? Already the Ole Blue Truck Farm—named after our restored 1950 Chevrolet—we knew there would be no other place to share the experience with our family and friends. So we began the process of designing, and building an event space for our vision to come to life—getting as precise as which direction the entrances faced for the most beautiful views. In this journey, we became fully invested in the excitement of weddings and knew this would be a perfect way to share it with you, too!
